Dr. Katz completed sequential residency training in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine, earning board certification in both disciplines. He has practiced clinical medicine for over 25 years. An award-winning clinical instructor, Dr. Katz helped establish the nation’s first fully accredited, dual residency training program in Internal and Preventive Medicine; and subsequently went on to establish a novel program in evidence-based integrative medicine at Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT, which he directed for 15 years.
